Betty Butcher, 79, a resident of New Castle, formerly of Wilkinson, died Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at Heritage House of New Castle. She was born April 4, 1937, in Raysville, Ind., the daughter of the late Herbert S. and Aline (Sosby) Hicks.
Survivors include sons, George Butcher of Greensboro, Allen Butcher, of New Castle, Rick Butcher, of Greenfield; daughters, Have (Russell) Cook of Dale, Ind., Angela Butcher of Greensboro; ten grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Butcher; and son, Shelby Butcher; three sisters, Mary Riley, Juanita Hicks, Linda Hicks.
Burial to be held at a later date.
