GREENFIELD — The Upsilon chapter of Psi Iota Xi is hosting two fundraisers to support speech, hearing, art, music and literature in Hancock County.

Christmas wreaths are now available for order and will be delivered in late November. A 20-inch wreath costs $21 while a 24-inch wreath costs $25; bows are included.

Cheese balls will cost $6 and will be available beginning Nov. 5.

Psi Iota Xi, founded in 1897 in Muncie, is a women’s philanthropic organization with chapters throughout the Midwest. The organizations focus on raising money and offering volunteer services to improve the quality of life in their communities.

Upsilon chapter members met Oct. 3 at Faith Lutheran Church in Greenfield to discuss fundraisers and other upcoming projects, including the production of more than 1,000 cheese balls. Phyllis Arthur and Edie Woodworth were hostesses.

Chapter members met with the community during the Riley Festival Parade Oct. 8. Membership is open to any female 18 years of age and older. To join or order wreaths or cheese balls, contact Katie Coffin at 317-430-4354 or [email protected].
