GREENFIELD — Police are investigating the death of a Greenfield woman found unresponsive in her home overnight Thursday, according to local law enforcement.
Patricia Dresser, 52, of Greenfield, was found dead in her home in the 1100 block of Morningside Drive late Thursday, investigators said.
Friends of Dresser’s visited her home after not being able to reach her, and they called 911 after finding her body, dispatch records show.
Police said the woman’s cause of death was not immediately apparent, and investigators spent Friday interviewing the woman’s friends and family. There were no immediate signs of foul play, and an autopsy was scheduled this weekend in Marion County, officials said.
