Lillian Marie (Sexton) Lucas, 80, of Greenfield, passed away on October 12, 2016, at her home in Greenfield. She was born on February 24, 1936, in Colson, Ky. to the late Lawrence and Loretta Sexton.

Lillian married Glenn Lucas on October 8, 1955, and would spend her life raising her children and grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She also worked for a local motel as a housekeeper, Indiana Knitwear, and Greenfield Middle School in the Cafeteria. Lillian was a devoted member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Greenfield where she participated in the choir. She enjoyed gardening and also visiting and praying with her neighbors. She was known in the neighborhood as β€œThe Praying Woman.” Lillian loved spending time with all of her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Surviving Lillian are her daughters, Sherry (Tony) Amburgey of Carthage; Sandra (James) Poe of Greenfield; Terrie (Richard) Lacy of Indianapolis; brothers, Harold, Curtis, Leroy, and Otis Sexton; sisters, Geneva Walters of Indianapolis; Sheila Isaacs of Greenfield; seven grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents who are listed above; husband, Glenn Lucas; and sister, Joyce Ann Cassidy.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, October 17, 2016, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 West Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Greenfield, 1202 East Fifth St, Greenfield, IN 46140, with Pastor Joseph Riggs officiating. Burial will follow the service at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
