Mary Alice Barkhimer, 98, Anderson, died Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at Countryside Manor Health and Living in Anderson following a brief illness. She was born February 18, 1918, in Henry County, the daughter of the late Hattie (Pressnall) and Lawrence Coon.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Pyles of Spring Hill, Tenn.; Donna (Jerry) Johns of Anderson; stepsons, Jerry (Loretta) Williamson of Lake Village, Ariz.; and Robert Williamson of Beloit, Wisc.; ten grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Donald Barkhimer and Robert Earl Williamson; brother, Dale Koon; sisters, Mildred Phenegar, Naomi Darling, Thelma Coon; son, Richard Meredith; daughter, Frances Shores; and a grandson.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to Noon, on Monday, October 17, at Condo and Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at Noon, Monday, October 17, with pastor Phil Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown.
