Mary F. Pitts
Mary F. Pitts, 83, of Carthage, died Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at her residence. She was born December 8 1932, in Fleming County, Ky. the daughter of Hiram and Della (Wyatt) Jones.
She is survived by two daughters, Sherry Pitts of LaPorte, Pamela (John) Dalton of Greensboro; two sons, Clinton (Jeannette) Pitts of New Castle and Randall Pitts of Carthage; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers, “Wink” (Lillian) Jones, Billy Jones, Delmor (Mary) Jones, and Jim Jones; a sister, Vonda Gross; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Pitts; brother, Homer and Forrest Jones; and sister, Arlene Brown.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, October 13, at Carthage Community Church. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, October 14, at the church with Pastor Charles Stroud officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
