Emma F. Shores, 80, of Indianapolis, died Wednesday morning, September 28, 2016, at her residence. She was born October 20, 1935, in Shirley, the daughter of Glen W. and Mary Alice (Coon) Meredith.
Survivors include her mother, Mary Alice Meredith Barkhimer; daughter, Brenda (Steve) Emery of Indianapolis; five stepgrandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister, Donna (Jerry) Johns of Anderson, Sharon Pyles of Tennessee; stepbrothers, Jerry Williamson of Arizona, Bob Williamson of Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn W. Meredith; sister, Deloris J. Landis; brotherm Richard E. Meredith; two stepfathers, Donald E. Barkhimer and Robert Williamson, ex-husband William A. Shores.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 3, at the funeral home with Pastor Ray Austin officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown.
