Lodge to host fundraiser for cancer research
GREENFIELD — The Greenfield Elks Lodge will host a fundraiser 6 p.m. Saturday to benefit cancer research.
For $10, those who attend will have access to a pulled pork dinner buffet and music by the band, REDUX, which plays Southern rock and blues.
There will be an auction, 50/50 drawing and raffles.
Dinner is at 6 p.m., and the band starts at 7:30 p.m.
Indiana Elks lodges have been raising money for cancer research for more than 60 years. Indiana Elks have raised more than $9 million for cancer centers in the state.
All money raised through the fundraiser will be directed to this effort.
