Booth space available for crafters

GREENFIELD — The Hancock County Extension Homemakers have booth space available for those who want to sell crafts, antiques or collectibles for their Holiday Extravaganza on Nov. 5 in the Exhibit Hall at the Hancock County Fairgrounds. Museum in search of veterans’ photos

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana State Museum, 650 W. Washington St., is seeking photos of Indiana’s veterans and active military personnel for an exhibit that will run Nov. 1 through Veterans Day, Nov. 11. Hoosiers are invited to submit photos of themselves, friends and family members who have served or are currently serving in any branch of the military. Photographs received will be printed and posted on a photo mural at the museum. Photos will also be view-able electronically through the Indiana State Museum’s Facebook page. Photos should be submitted via email by Oct. 21 to [email protected] and must include the following information: name, date of service, military division, hometown and nominator’s name. Photos should be between 150 and 300 dpi. Hoosiers are also encouraged to include in their submissions stories about the veterans and their service to their country.

Buck Creek Players auditioning for play

INDIANAPOLIS — The Buck Creek Players will hold auditions for the musical “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” at 7 p.m. Oct. 3 and 4 at the Buck Creek Playhouse, 11150 Southeastern Ave. Directors are looking for a diverse group of four men and two women aged 18 and up.
