GREENFIELD — Rainy weather forecasts have forced the Greenfield Fire Territory to cancel its weekend safety event.
Hancock County Family Safety Day was to be held on Saturday in the parking lot of the Greenfield Wal-Mart.
The event was aimed at acquainting residents with local public safety officials while also giving them resources to protect their families.
Organizers have reschedule the event for Oct. 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
