Frances L. (Kirkwood) Flynn, 75, was taken home to our lord on September 10, 2016. She was born to Millard and Maidee (Pettus) Kirkwood on June 19, 1941, in Lexington, Miss.

Frances graduated from Greenfield High School in 1959 and continued her education at Bob Jones University. She work as an accountant at Fort Benjamin Harrison, before moving to North Webster, Ind. to raise her children. She then worked as a supervisor at The Decko Group until retirement.

After retirement, she moved to Owen County in southern Indiana, where she was a coordinator for National Able, placing seniors back in the work place, until her illness. Frances was an active member in the Owen County Art Guild and Heritage Center. She also enjoyed camping, flea marketing, crocheting, the marble game, but her greatest enjoyment was her family.

Survivors are daughters, Christina ( Scott ) Burns and Sherry Manges; son, Charles Gradeless; stepsons, Rick and Greg Flynn; sister, Shirley Clark; three brothers, Richard, Gary, and Terry Kirkwood; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Frances is preceded in death by her husband, William Flynn; parents; older brother, Jim Kirkwood; and great-grandchild, Jacob Thomas Roberts.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, at the Riley Park House in Riley Park, 210 Apple St, Greenfield, IN 46140, with funeral services to follow at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be at Park Cemetery following the funeral services. A celebration of life will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturday, September 17, at the Riley Park House.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Our Lil Bit of Heaven, 4259 County Road 525 W, Poland, IN 47868.
