Roland Douglas Bradley, 68, Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at Community Hospital North. He was born on February 21, 1948, in Scottsville, Ky. as the son of Roy O. and Mabel I. (Douglas) Bradley. He graduated from George Washington High School in Indianapolis in 1965. After high school, Roland attended Ball State University in Muncie. He married Dorothy (Young) Bradley on December 21, 1985, in Indianapolis.
Roland worked as a typesetter and graphic designer for Moeller Printing Company in Indianapolis for 17 years before retiring in 2016. Mr. Bradley was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Greenfield. He loved golfing and fishing.
Roland is survived by his wife, Dorothy Bradley of Greenfield; daughter, Abigail Bradley of Indianapolis; stepdaughters, Dawn (Brian) Johnson of Knightstown and Amy Loftin of Fortville; siblings, Randal (Marilyn) Bradley of Indianapolis, Rosalie Hinton of Indianapolis and Rhonda Bradley of Indianapolis; and grandchildren, Joshua, Devon, Kyle, Sarah and Alison.
Roland was preceded in death by his parents; and infant sister, Reeda Bradley.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. also at the mortuary. Reverend Randall Parker will be officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
