Robert M. Campbell, 72, Greenfield, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016. He was born on July 12, 1944, in Logansport as the son of Herbert O. and Eleanor M. (Iles) Campbell.
He graduated from Carroll High School in 1963. After high school, Bob attended Indiana State University where he received his bachelor’s degree. Mr. Campbell served in the Army during Vietnam.
Bob worked as an engineer for Chrysler for 30 years before retiring. He loved riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Tania (Don) Cruser of Pendleton; brother, Herbert Campbell of Monticello; and grandchildren, Sam, Abby and Max.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Donald Campbell.
A memorial gathering will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday September 14, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A memorial service will be held immediately following the gathering, beginning at 7p.m. Pastor Danny Curry will be officiating.
