Kimberly A. “Kim” Hamilton, 56, a lifelong Rush County resident passed away Friday, September 2, 2016, at her home in Arlington. Kim was born in Rushville, on September 10, 1959, to William and Evelyn (Carlile) Lacy.

She was a 1978 graduate of Rush Consolidated High School. Kim married David Hamilton on June 28, 1980, and he survives. Kim had worked at Shane Diamonds and in Banking. She has been a housewife and homemaker for the last several years. Kim enjoyed going to casinos and loved animals.

In addition to her husband, David; Kim is survived by her mother, Evelyn Lacy of Orange; a niece, Danielle; a nephew, Dustin and companion Brittany; two great-nephews and a great-niece.

Kim was preceded in death by her father, one brother and one sister.

Services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, September 7, at Moster Mortuary, Rushville. Friends are welcome to visit from 11 a.m. until the time of service that same day at the mortuary. Pastor John Wall will preside. Burial will be in Arlington East Hill Cemetery.
