Little Cougar hoops registration open
The Greenfield-Central Little Cougar Basketball League is accepting registrations for the 2016 season.
Practices start Aug. 29 and 30, with games beginning the same week Aug. 31. Each team will practice once a week at the Greenfield-Central Fieldhouse. Sessions will be conducted from 6 to 8 p.m. Each practice will be an hour long.
Most games will be played Wednesday nights (except Sept. 27) at the Greenfield-Central Fieldhouse.
Registration forms must be submitted by Aug. 24 to ensure each player receives a shirt. Cost for registration is $50 per player. Forms are available at all Greenfield-Central Schools.

Golf outing for Cougar basketball upcoming
The Greenfield-Central boys basketball golf outing is scheduled for Aug. 28 at Arrowhead Golf Course.
The event is a four-person preferred outing. A shotgun start at 1 p.m. will open the day. BBQ’n Fools is catering the outing.
The cost to play is $70 per player or $280 per team.
