FORTVILLE — State Road 13 will be closed for maintenance from 7 a.m. Monday to Friday.
Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews plan to close the road between U.S. 36/State Road 67 in Fortville and Interstate 69 to replace a drainage pipe under the road just north of County Road 1050S in Madison County. The stretch of road is scheduled to reopen before 5 p.m. Friday.
During the closure, a detour marked with signs will route highway traffic around road work using I-69 and State Road 67.
Access will remain available for local residents and destinations only, according to a news release. Drivers in the area should be prepared for steel plates and stone on the roadway in the area where the pipe is replaced.
