Florence A. (Wilson) O’Haver, 89, Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at her home. She was born on August 9, 1927, in Fountaintown as the daughter of Albert W. and O. Nondas Wilson.
She graduated from Morristown High School in 1945. After high school Mrs. O’Haver attended Butler University. She married George Arthur O’Haver on March 19, 1949.
Florence worked for Universal Life Insurance in Indianapolis for 20 years before retiring. Mrs. O’Haver was a past Grand Matron of the Broad Ripple Eastern Star Lodge #643. She was a member of North Eastwood Christian Church in Indianapolis.
Florence is survived by her brother, Jim A. Wilson of Morristown; grandchildren, Nick O’Haver, Rachael (Matthew) Cadick, George Albert O’Haver Jr. and John R. O’Haver; and her extended family, Barbara and Ralph Saunders.
Florence was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Arthur O’Haver; sons, George Albert O’Haver Sr. and Richard A. O’Haver; grandson, David Arthur O’Haver; and brother, Paul M. Wilson.
Visitation will be held from Noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 20, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2 p.m., also at the mortuary. Pastor Seth Amerine will be officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
