GREENFIELD — An Indianapolis woman police say ordered a girl not to report sexual assault allegations against her husband appeared in court Tuesday and pleaded not guilty to neglect.

Lisa Early, 38, 7038 E. 10th St., Indianapolis, was charged last week amid allegations she begged a girl not to go to police after learning her husband, 39-year-old James Early of Indianapolis, forced the girl to have sex with him repeatedly for years, court documents state.

A tentative trial date for Lisa Early’s case has been set for March. She was released from the Hancock County Jail on Tuesday without bond.

James Early, who faces one count of sexual misconduct with a minor, one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and one count of intimidation, is being held in the Hancock County Jail on $50,000 cash bond.
