Roselyn “Rosie” Ann (Arbuckle) Faut, 86, New Palestine, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016, in Greenfield. Rosie was born on December 23, 1929, in Hope, to the late Woodruff J. and Marybelle (Patrick) Arbuckle.
Survivors include stepdaughter, Kathy Faut Collins; grandchildren, Angela Armstrong and Ryan Collins; great-grandchildren, Desiree, Caleb, Olivia and Lauren Dickson, Lilly Armstorng, Mackenzie Collins; great-great-grandson, Callen Dickson.
The Arbuckle family was instrumental in promoting harness racing and raising award winning Jersey Cattle. Rosie was a lifetime member of the ISHA, Arabian Horse Association and the Appaloosa Horse Club. She was also the Founder of Hoosier Acres Saddle Club. Clyde and Roselyn Faut owned and operated Brookwood Farms of New Palestine.
Services will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17, at Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Shangrila Chapel, 1444 West US Hwy 52, Fountaintown, IN with the Visitation from 2 p.m. until time of service at the mortuary.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Hancock County 4H Horse & Pony Club.
