MCCORDSVILLE — Courtney Simons has earned an academic award with Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.
Simons, a McCordsville native, recently was named to the American Volleyball Coaches’ Association academic team. Simons is earning a bachelor’s degree in university studies. The Miami University Redhawks were one of 131 NCAA Division 1 teams to earn the award.
