Local software firm celebrates anniversary with new office

GREENFIELD – A local software company is moving into a new location as it celebrates its 10th year in business.

SpaceTech Software, a Greenfield company that creates computer programs for businesses and government agencies, is celebrating a decade of work in Hancock County and opening a new office in downtown Greenfield.

The new location is in the Creative Arts and Events Center, 2 West Main St., Studio 201, Greenfield. An open house is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

Indy Junior Achievement seeks nominations

INDIANAPOLIS — Junior Achievement of Central Indian, Inc. is seeking nominations for its 13th annual Indy’s Best and Brightest event.

The program honors hundreds of Central Indiana’s most outstanding young professionals, age 40 and under, in 10 different industries.

The Best and Brightest event was created by Junior Achievement to recognize up-and-coming talent and the next generation of leaders in Central Indiana, organizers said.

Nominations are due by Monday. Visit indysbestandbrightest.org for additional event details and to nominate someone.

Ten finalists from each honoree category will be chosen by a selection committee in September, and winners will be announced during the event at Hilbert Circle Theatre on Nov. 9.

The categories honored include:
