Filing open for school board seats in county
GREENFIELD — Twelve school board seats across the county’s four public school districts are up for election this fall.
The filing period is open until Aug. 26.
Candidates should file their information with the county election office, located in the Hancock County Courthouse, 9 S. State St., Greenfield.
The following seats are open (one seat each unless otherwise indicated):
Greenfield-Central School Corp: District 1, District 4, District 5 (at-large)
Mt. Vernon Community School Corp: At-large (three seats)
Eastern Hancock School Corp: District 2, District 3, at-large
Southern Hancock School Corp: District 1, District 2, District 4
