GREENFIELD — A Greenfield man was arrested Thursday amid allegations he touched a toddler when the two were left alone together for a few minutes in a friend’s bedroom, according to court documents.
Eric Worthington, 31, 1059 E. South St., faces a Level 4 felony count of child molest.
The mother of the victim told police she’d left the her young daughter alone with Worthington for only a few minutes while they were both visiting a mutual friend, court documents state.
The woman called police a day later after finding redness on the little girl’s skin, court documents state.
The Level 4 felony charge Worthington faces carries a penalty of two to 12 years. He was being held in the Hancock County Jail on $4,000 cash bond at press time.
