Pamela Sue Hauser, 63, New Palestine, passed away July 28, 2016. She was born in Beech Grove on June 6, 1953, to the late William K. and Pauline Elizabeth Flock Bowen.
Pamela graduated from Ball State with a degree in business administration. She was an insurance manager for 40 years working for Aetna, American States Insurance Co., Covance, Safeco Insurance Co., Liberty Mutual-Indiana Insurance and Baldwin and Lyons Insurance. She attended Holy Spirit Catholic Church and was past president of Indiana Workman Compensation Institution. She was a member of Tri Sigma Sorority at Ball State.
Pamela is survived by her husband, David A. Hauser; daughter, Katherine “Katie” Hauser (Jason Bow); son, Evan M. Hauser; sisters, Wanda Hilty (Jon) and Sandy Finkel; several nieces and nephews; and her fur-baby grandchildren, Lilly, Midnight and Houston; along with her cats.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, August 1, at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 2, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 E. 10th St. She will be laid to rest in New Palestine Cemetery. A mercy meal will be held at 1 p.m. at Adaggios, 5999 W. Memory Ln., Greenfield, IN.
