Harry L. Shaul, 82, Wilkinson, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Springhurst Health Campus in Greenfield. He was born June 29, 1934, in Lapel, the son of the late Wallace and Mardelle (Jacobs) Shaul.

Harry graduated from Wilkinson High School in 1952. He and his wife Mary Etta (Molden) Shaul were married on July 4, 1952, and celebrated 64 years of marriage this year. Harry’s pleasures of life were family, church and his job at Delco Remy in Anderson, where he retired in 1996 as a tool maker in skilled trades after 44 years of service. He loved the outdoors and had grown Christmas trees for 60 years. Vegetable gardening and making apple cider to give to family and friends was his pleasure. He had an unsatisfiable thirst for knowledge.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Etta Shaul; son, Roddy (Frank Lucero) Shaul of North Hollywood, Cali.; brother-in- law, Lee Newton, Cookville, Tenn.; nephews, Danny, Donnie Newton, Terry (Sally) Molden of Wilkinson, Kevin Molden of Wilkinson; nieces, Sandy (Jim Jackson) of Shirley and JoAnn Carter of Florida, sister-in-law Ruth Molden.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Randy Shaul in 1971; brother, William Shaul; sister, Eileen Newton; nephew, Richard and Darrell Newton, Larry Shaul.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 20, at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 21, at the funeral home with Ryan McCarty and Jim Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
