Robert (Bob) Elijah Reeves, 84, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, June 15th in Brooksville, Fla. He was born April 1, 1932, in Indianapolis.
Bob served in the Air Force. He was retired from Eli Lilly and Company where he was employed as a supervisor of the Electrical Shop. He enjoyed country music, dancing, playing cards, and making new friends.
He is survived by two sons, Robert (Julie) Reeves of Greenfield and Roger (Sherri) Reeves of Dade City, Fla.; two daughters, Ruth (Ron) Helton of Greenfield and Ruby (Don) Smith of New Castle; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne, of 55 years. They enjoyed camping, boating, and traveling, including 42 cruises together.
The family will hold a celebration of life for both Bob and Jeanne on Saturday, July 9th, from Noon to 3 p.m. at the residence of Bob and Julie Reeves, 1595 North 200 West in Greenfield. A private burial will take place at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
