On Monday, Louise Graham, 90, graduated from this world and home to her new home in heaven. Her main goal was and is to spend eternity with her Savior, Jesus. Her greatest wish was that her family would follow her to heaven and she prayed for them daily.

Louise was born on July 28, 1925. She was the daughter of Ray R. and Ester B. (Thacker) Fausett, who have preceded her in death.

Louise was a 1943 graduate of McCordsville High School which in later years was incorporated into the Mt. Vernon School Corporation.

Louise was a lifelong resident of Hancock County living in the McCordsville and Fortville area on the family farm. She had recently been a resident of Building Memories Home Care of Greenfield. Louise was a homemaker and worked as a floral designer for several years at Wolf’s Flower Shop in Fortville. She loved going to garage sale with several of her lady friends. She was very outgoing and never met a stranger. Many of the treasures she found at the garage sales have been passed on to family and friends. Louise was active in the church most of her life and was a member of the Fortville Christian Church. She was also a member of the church choir for several years.

Louise leaves behind two children, James E. Graham, Jr., wife, Janice of New Whiteland and Susan Kay Lucas, husband, Larry of Fishers. She has one granddaughter, Amanda L. Landwerlen, husband, Greg of Carmel and one great-grandson, Tyler Wesley Bell also of Carmel. Louise leaves behind brothers and sisters-in-law Orville and Donna Graham of Illinois, Vivian and Dan Kitrell and Walter Graham all of Arkansas and Sandy Graham of Indianapolis, plus numerous nieces and nephews as well as cousins Rosalyn Dowling of Pendleton and Nancy Day of Indianapolis.

Louise was also preceded in death by an infant sister; Norma Ruth Fausett and her husband of 66 years James E. Graham who died in 2013.
