Duane Wicker, 83, of California, Mo., formerly of Greenfield, died Saturday, June 25, 2016, at his home California, Mo. He was born on December 17, 1932, in Indiana, to Omer and Vivian (Gardner) Wicker both of whom preceded him in death.
Duane is survived by his wife, Jeanette Wicker of California, Mo.; three sons, Tom and Mike Wicker of Indiana and Jeff Wicks of Oklahoma; two daughters, Karla Strobel (David) and Sheri Draffen (Herbie) all of Missouri; two sisters, Luellen Gustin (Gary) of Indiana and Pauline Ross of California; brother-in-law Herb Keseman (Sharon) of Kansas; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Denise Wicker; wife, Judy Wicker; and a brother-in-law, Fred Keseman.
The family received friends at Windmill Ridge Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28. A second visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. Graveside services will be held on at 11 a.m. Friday, July 1, at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown, Indiana David Deem officiating.
