Meeting hall dedicated to late Greenfield mayor

GREENFIELD — The city hall council chambers were formally dedicated to former Mayor Dick Pasco this week.

Late last year, the Greenfield City Council voted to name the chambers — where city meetings are conducted– after the former mayor who died while serving his term as the city’s top official. This week, they unveiled the placard memorializing the mayor.

Pasco took office in 2012, pursuing his longtime dream dream to be mayor. He died in December 2013 after a battle with liver cancer.
