June Addison, 89, of Greenfield, passed away Friday, June 24, 2016, at Golden Living Center Brandywine in Greenfield. She was born Feb. 14, 1927, in Spiceland, the daughter of the late Edgar and Margaret (Frazier) Wilson.
June graduated from Charlottesville High in 1945. She and her husband Dave were married for 61 years. For many years she and Dave were co-owner of the grocery store at Charlottesville, and she was an emergency tech at Hancock Memorial Hospital. She was a loving mother that loved quilting, handcrafts, pie making and spending time with her family.
Survivors include son, Dwight (Phyllis) Addison of Greenfield; daughter, Carol (Gary) Wright of Greenfield; son, Doug (Teressa) Addison of Greenfield; grandchildren, Dee Dee Addison, Scott Addison, Micah Wright, Christine (Adam) Young, David (Katie) Wright, Jonathan Wright, Jeff (Megan) Addison, Kari (Chad) Sisk, Jordan (Katy) Patterson; six great-grandchildren; sister, Anita Callahan of Charlottesville, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William David Addison in 2007; brothers, Leroy Wilson and Ralph Wilson.
Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 28, at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson, with Pastor Gary Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown.
