To the editor:
Recently my wife and I were invited to meet the new Mt. Vernon Community School Corp. superintendent, Dr. Shane Robbins. What a wonderful experience! We met an individual who, we believe, is financially responsible, well-versed in organizational structures and operations, down-to-earth in his approach and has passion for his vocation. For the first time in many years we feel comfortable that we now have a school board and a superintendent who are not only concerned about the students, school staff, and faculty but also understand the needs and concerns of the general tax-paying public.
