Alzettia (Mollenkopf) Wilkinson, 77, of Fortville, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on September 25, 1938, in Indianapolis, to the late James and Violet (Crail) Mollenkopf and attended the old Fortville High School.
Alzettia was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and loved her family above all else. She worked at Brookside Corporation for years and later at Westminster Village North. She was the Past President of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary 6904, member of the Fortville American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 391, and the Christ Fellowship Church.
She is survived by her son, Greg Jones of Fortville; daughters, Jennifer Bell and Julie Caudell, both of Fortville; grandchildren, Andrew Alford and Amber Jenkins; and great-grandchildren Mariyah Sears, Tyler Alford Engelman and Emma Bell.
Alzettia was preceded in death by husband, Robert Wilkinson; son, Jeff Spears; and grandson, Daniel Sears.
Friends may call from 1 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 19, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. A Celebration of Alzettia’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 20, at the funeral home with Pastor Bill Roberts officiating. Burial will take place at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
