Alice’s mad croquet game set

GREENFIELD — Flamingo mallets, rolling hedgehogs and card guards will be part of Alice’s Mad Croquet for Teens from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. June 24 at the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road.

Players can take a time-out for Mad Hatter tea party snacks between rounds. Wonderland costumes are encouraged but not required. Sign up at hcplibrary.org or call 462-5141, ext. 240.

Enjoy jazz orchestra on plaza

GREENFIELD — Entertainment on the Plaza presents the Director’s Jazz Orchestra at 7 p.m. Friday at the Greenfield City Plaza, at the corner of State St. and Main St.

The Director’s Jazz Orchestra dedicates itself to performing the genre of jazz throughout central Indiana.

‘Minions’ showing at festival

GREENFIELD — The Minions invade Legacy Cinema’s Free Family Film Festival at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Minions are recruited by the evil Scarlett Overkill and her inventor husband as they plot to take over the world.

Celebrate Juneteenth in Indy

INDIANAPOLIS — Celebrate Juneteenth on Saturday at the Eiteljorg Museum with free admission, music, performances, demonstrations, food and fun for the entire family. Juneteenth, or Freedom Day, is a holiday commemorating the end of slavery in Texas.
