Jerry Ross Snider, 61, Pendleton, passed away June 13, 2016, in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit of Saxony Hospital after a brief illness. He was surrounded by loving family and friends. Jerry was born Dec. 27, 1954, in Pendleton, and was a lifelong resident, graduating from Pendleton High School in 1973. He had been employed by West Electric in Anderson for 28 years.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Cathy Snider; daughter, Angie Morris of Pendleton; son, Shane Morris of Anderson; brothers, John (Linda) Snider of Greenwood and Larry (Jama) Snider of New Castle; sister, Diane (Bill) Behrens of Scarsdale, NY; nieces and nephews, Darrick (Treva) Snider, Eric B. (Kristy) Snider, Eric J. Snider, Desira (Dan) Fesler, David Snider, Greg (Rosann) Moore, Lisa (Peter) Cusick and Leslie (Al) Haverkamp.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Jeanette Snider.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday June 18, with services immediately following at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton. Jim Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Lawn Cemetery, Pendleton.
