Sound Off

•With school employees taking advantage of students, how as a parent are we supposed to feel are kids are safe at school?

•Why have they not put a turn light by the courthouse? It drives me crazy. I always have to risk being hit by a semi that can’t stop in time.

•Please fall into line, Paul Ryan. It only hurts for a minute or two or three.

•With the end of the school year fast approaching, let us all remember to be alert; more children will be on the sidewalks and crossing the roads.

•Wouldn’t it be great if we could all play nice and get along?

•Shout out to the Greenfield Police Department on the recent drug busts. Thanks for cleaning up the streets and keeping Greenfield residents safe. Your hard work and dedication is greatly appreciated.

•Does anyone know what the stop sign on a school bus means anymore? If the stop sign is extended, that means stop.

•If you are returning to Greenfield from Indianapolis on Interstate 70, when you get off the interstate, it is a yield. Please quit stopping to merge.

•I want to be able to vote against any candidate who is unopposed, but there isn’t an against box under their name. Can we change that?

•I was really disappointed to find out that Greenfield Central Junior High School is considering cutting time in classes like music to add more time in math and English. I hope that doesn’t actually happen.

•Growing up, my neighborhood always had block parties. I would love to see some of the communities around town do something similar so we could get to know our neighbors a little better.

•Shout out to the New Palestine Main Street group and the new flowers in town. Such a positive sight.
