Helen Ruth King, 83, Greenfield, formerly of North Manchester, Ind., passed away May 20, 2016 at her residence. She was born on June 16, 1932 in Salyersville, Ky., to Carew and Nora E. (Shepherd) Castle.
She married Marvin Berl King on July 1, 1986, and has been a homemaker.
Helen is survived by her husband; children, Ernie (Janice) Bradley of North Manchester, Mike (Laura) Bradley of Liberty Mills, Linda (Oliver) Marshall of Claypool, Yvonne (Allen) Lantz of Bluffton; stepchildren, Terry (Tamyra) King of Carthage, Ricky King of Anderson, Kevin (Tami) King of Noblesville, Rhonda Gadberry of Knightstown, Vicky (Kevin) Mars of Shirley, Julie (Rick) Burcham of New Castle, Rebecca (Rick) Hurst of Port Richie, Fl., Andrea King of Greenfield; brother, Danny (Sharlon) Castle of North Manchester; sisters, Hazel Bradley of Liberty Mills, Haley Shepherd of Kentucky, Mazie (Kelse) Harris of Sellers Lake, Ind.; 30 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Patsy Dale; stepsons, Kerry King and Mark King; brothers, Carter Castle, Von Castle, Mitchel Castle and Manus Castle.
Friends may visit from Noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, at McKee Mortuary, 1401 St. Rd. 114 W, No. Manchester, IN. Funeral service will be immediately following visitation with Paster William Whitaker officiating. Burial will take place at Oaklawn Cemetery in North Manchester.
