New Palestine High School senior Nicholas Martin recently signed a letter of commitment to play soccer at Anderson University.

Martin, a two-year varsity starter, was the Dragons’ varsity team captain, Defensive MVP, and was named an All-Hancock County and All-Hoosier Heritage Conference player as a defensive midfielder.

He anchored the Dragons conference-best defense this season and was the team’s third leading scorer with three goals and three assists on the season.

He helped to lead the Dragon’s to an HHC championship and a sectional championship during the past two years.
