Woman accused of shoplifting with teen’s help
GREENFIELD — An Indianapolis woman faces felony neglect charges after police said she got a teen to help her steal two televisions and a gaming system from the Walmart in Greenfield.
Ginnie Likens, 35, was arrested Wednesday and charged with five counts including felony counts of theft and neglect of a dependent.
Likens instructed a teen to steal the electronics while she distracted workers at the store, court documents suggest. Police say the devices would have cost more than $800.
Likens faces three Level 6 felony counts of theft, conspiracy to commit theft and neglect of a dependent; along with two misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and criminal recklessness.
