Jerry R. Churchill, age 77, of Greenfield ,passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at Kindred Transitional Care in Greenfield. He was born April 2, 1939, in Okmulgee, Ok.
Jerry was a graduate of Wright City High School in Missouri and later attended the Missouri School of Mining and Metallurgy. He proudly served in the Army Reserves, attended St. Michael Catholic Church and prior to his retirement in 1999 he spent his life working in industrial sales. Jerry was also a former member of the Greenfield County Club.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Churchill of Greenfield; children, Gregory (Jill) Churchill of West Lafayette, Ind.; Glenn (Lynn) Churchill, and Sandra Phelps both of Greenfield; father, Glen Gaskin Sr. of Warrenton, Mo.; brother, Glen Gaskin of Rancho Mirage, California; and his six grandchildren, Joe Churchill, Megan Churchill, Jake Churchill, Josh Phelps, Cole Churchill, and Christoper Churchill.
Jerry is preceded in death by his mother, Elaine V. (McEwen) Gaskin; and sister, Linda Casner.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 23, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 West Main St., Greenfield, IN 46140. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 24, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Greenfield, 519 Jefferson Blvd. Greenfield, IN 46140 with burial immediately following at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
