Penny J. (Ledbetter) Hicks, age 63, of Greenfield, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016, at home. She was born on August 5, 1952, in Kalamazoo, Mich., as the daughter of James and Margaret Ledbetter.
Penny is survived by her son, Justin P. Hicks of Indianapolis; daughters, Kelley L. (Michael M.) Brinegar and Leslie A. (Charles W.) Dickson, both of Greenfield; parents, James and Margaret Ledbetter of Filer City, Mich.; brothers, Ronald E. Ledbetter of Manistee, Mich., and James J. Ledbetter of Filer City, Mich.; sister, E. Dian Ledbetter of Filer City, Mich.; and 11 grandchildren.
Penny was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Edward Hicks.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 U.S. 40 West, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 23. The Rev. Chris Braschler will be officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
