HANCOCK COUNTY — Partners for Animal Welfare Society is offering residents of Hancock County and surrounding areas a low cost alternative to getting cats and dogs spayed/neutered for as little as $5 per cat through the P.A.W.S. $5/$10/$15 Feline Fix program.
Bring in 1-4 cats and the cost is $15 per cat. For 5-8 cats, the cost is $10 per cat. For 9 or more cats, the cost is only $5 per cat. Each cat is spayed/neutered, given a three year rabies vaccine and treated for fleas. Any healthy cat or kitten that weighs at least 3 pounds qualifies. Feral [wild] cats are welcome.
The cost for a dog to be spayed or neutered ranges from $40-$80, depending on the size of the dog. Reservations are required. To reserve an appointment, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call the P.A.W.S. office at 317-318-9483.
