GREENFIELD — The Ricochet Cloggers, under the direction of Annie Wing, will present their spring showcase at 2 p.m. May 21 at the H. J. Ricks Centre for the Arts, 122 W. Main St. Tickets are $5 at the door. Children 5 and younger are free.

GREENFIELD — The Friends of the Hancock County Public Library will have its gently-used book sale from May 19 to 23 at the Greenfield location, 900 W. McKenzie Road. The sale offers books, audio books, DVDs and CDs. Friends of the Library members may shop the preview sale from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on May 19. Walk-ins are invited to join the organization at a cost of $15 and shop the preview that night. Membership forms are available at the circulation desk. The sale opens to the public from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on May 20; 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. May 21; and 1 to 3:45 p.m. May 22. The close-out sale runs from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 23. All proceeds from book sales directly benefit the library.

GREENFIELD — Learn to paint poppies among the grass with acrylics on canvas during a studio session with artist Peggy Brewer at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road. A $10 registration fee covers all materials and the use of a painting smock. Registration is required at hcplibrary.org.
