Garland Barger,77, of New Palestine, died Tuesday, May 10, 2016. Garland was born on March 28, 1939, in Hazard, Ky.
Garland is survived by wife, Marjorie Jean (Coffman) Barger; daughter, Jenny Chambers-Barger (Derrick); five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two children, Garland Lee Barger and Teresa Haboush-Barger.
Services for Mr. Barger are at 1 p.m. Friday, May 13, at The Creek Church 6430 S. Franklin Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46259, with visitation from 11 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow immediately at Greenwood Cemetery.
