GREENFIELD — In celebration of Arbor Day, Regreening Greenfield will offer tree seedlings to the public at at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Hancock County Courthouse Plaza, 9 E. Main St.
Distribution of several hundred seedlings will be handed out while supplies last. Varieties include Virginia Pine, River Birch, Sycamore, Overcup Oak, Shagbark Hickory, Flowering Dogwood and Redbud.
Local student volunteers will assist Regreening members. Donations are welcome, and proceeds benefit Regreening tree-planting projects around the city.
