County Kritters 4-H Club meets

The Country Kritters 4-H Club met March 8 at Elanco, with 21 members present and Vickie Ramsey and Cathy Logan presiding.

Luke Shilling led the American Pledge and Hailey Hedrick led the 4-H Pledge.

For Health and Safety, Jared Ernstes gave a demonstration about pet safety.

Hailey Hedrick gave a demonstration about the FFA Creed, Paige Ernstes gave a demonstration about BB guns and safety, and Kaitlyn Delk gave a demonstration about making space shoes.

Members discussed community service projects, including donating to the Hancock County Hope House and helping the Hancock County Humane Society. They also talked about fundraiser ideas and project workshop dates.

After the members voted, the leader announced that the club would sponsor two trophies for the 4-H Fair.

The meeting adjourned after a tour of Elanco, given by Eric Shilling and Jon Jordan.

The next meeting will be April 19 at the Purdue Extension Office in Greenfield, 802 Apple St.
