Leanne Renee (Towle) Jackson, age 49, of Greenfield, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at her residence. She was born on March 6, 1967, in Rock Island, Ill., as the daughter of Lee R. and Bette F. Towle.
She graduated from Greenfield-Central High School. Leanne married Jesse “Jay” Jackson on May 24, 1997, in Greenfield. She worked for many of years at Gas America where she continued to work her way up in the company. Leanne enjoyed camping, the outdoors, women’s basketball and Ball State. She loved spending time with her family.
Leanne is survived by her husband, Jay Jackson of Greenfield; son, Jason (Kerri) Jackson of Seattle, WA; daughter, Jessica Jayde Jackson of Greenfield; father, Lee Towle of Greenfield; brothers, Brett A. (Christy) Towle of Greenfield, Derek (Lana) Towle of Greenfield and Nathan (Stephanie) Towle of Fishers; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bette F. Towle.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2016, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 U.S. Hwy. 40 West, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at the mortuary. Pastor Steve Richwine will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent directly to the Jessica Jayde Jackson College Fund at any Greenfield Banking Company or envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
