Extension homemakers to host spring garden event

GREENFIELD — Hancock County Extension Homemakers will host the Spring Garden Special at 6 p.m. April 14 in the 4-H building at the Hancock County Fairgrounds, 608 N. Apple St.

The evening’s programs presented by Roy Ballard, Purdue Extension educator, are “Heritage Plants,” “Planting Toward the Future” and “Garden Crafting.” Cost for the evening is $3 per person and will include appetizers, beverage, dessert and programs. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m.

The event is open to the public. Those attending must RSVP by Monday by sending the $3 program fee to 802 N. Apple St., Greenfield, IN, 46140. Checks only should be made to the Hancock County Extension Homemakers.
