FORTVILLE — Mt. Vernon High School’s National Honor Society has decided to open Friday’s dance marathon to the public.
Community members are invited to attend the dance marathon from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the high school gymnasium, 8112 North 200W, Fortville.
It costs $5 to participate, and the event will feature dancing, music, bounce houses, face painting and food.
Students hope to raise $10,000 for Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. So far, more than $4,000 has been raised.
