Larry O. Manning, 77, of Knightstown, died Thursday, March 31, 2016, at IU Health Methodist Hospital. He was born July 13, 1938, in Fleming County, Ky., a son of Berry and Lorena (Rice) Manning.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sharon (Specht) Manning; four children, Terri Gorman (Jack Tague) of Knightstown, Berry (Julie) Manning of Spring Hill, FL, Scott (Florence) Manning of Holiday, FL, and Lisa (Terry) Helderbrand of Knightstown; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; seven siblings, Melvin (Carol) Manning of New Castle, Norman Manning (Patty Bowen) of Spiceland, Sue (Don) George of Bowling Green, KY, Debbie (Randy) Black of Greenfield, Marsha (Mike) Redmond of Bradenton, FL, Dale (Carolyn) Manning of Greensboro, Don (Pat) Manning of Bradenton, Florida; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2016, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastors Larry Delon and Gail Whitmire officiating. Burial will be at Dunreith Community Cemetery at a later date.
