MT. COMFORT — A Post-Lenten Service is set for 6 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Comfort United Methodist Church of the Risen Christ and will feature a time of prayer for healing. It is open to the public.

The theme will be “What Do I Bring to The Table?” Linda Wynn will talk about her faith journey. A special solo by Jean Ellis of Curry’s Chapel United Methodist Church will be part of the prayer service. Featured on the keyboard will be Saran Westcott.

The service is patterned after prayer and healing services designed by the Upper Room of Nashville, Tenn.

The Rev. Robert H. Miller, a certified instructor in prayer and healing from the Upper Room, will conduct a Service of Prayer and Healing. There will be an opportunity to offer prayer for others as well as other concerns.
